Working with everyone at Franz Mayer studio was a great learning curve. I wanted to be involved and not just send an image for a paint by number reproduction. We developed the compositions together and understanding the material of glass and stone and essence of my drawings was a collaborative dialogue. The sensitivity with which the material of glass is transformed is intrinsic to the final experience. The respect for the artist language and it´s integrity is such a major priority with Michael and Petra and their team.
